Job Description

Position Description Candidates in this role will closely work with OPSI - Operations Analytics team to understand, deploy and monitor OPSI operations activities in different stages of feature life cycle and will be fully responsible for managing end to end feature life cycle from Operations point of view.Candidates in this role will put in the drivers seat on operational activities related to deployment, issue tracking, triage, root cause analysis etc. They will also be responsible to implement industry best practices on Analytics operations and provide recommendations to delivery and implementation teams.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interaction with OPSI - Big Data Analytics leadership on regular basis and closely work on OPSI Operational activities
  • Single point of contact for all operational activities (Deployment, Issue tracking, issue triage, root cause analysis, coordination with different teams etc.) in OPSI Analytics domain
  • Work exclusively within a specific knowledge area
  • Prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines
  • Provide explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Quantitative or related field
  • 4+ years of solid experience in handling Big Data operations for large teams (40+ team size) and solid exposure in Operations life cycle (Feature Deployment, Issue tracking, Issue triage, Root cause analysis, team coordination)
  • 3+ years of solid experience in working with Big Data Technologies and Hadoop ecosystem
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures
  • Demonstrated process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and/or evaluation of Operational processes
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience in managing a team of Operational analysts
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to lead projects proactively
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with an overall passion for continual improvement
  • Innovative and creative, with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving
