Senior Engineer Requirement Management and Configuration Management

Job Description

As part of the Client s Engineer team, review Requirement Management and Configuration Management deliverable to verify that the design is meeting the customer requirements and adhering to the processes established for the project;On behalf of the Client, manage, control and administrate the ComplyPro requirement management database;Assisting onsite team in meeting the expectation of the client and project management consultant;Participation in meetings, requirement management workshops, configuration management workshops, project design reviews and required stage gate reviews where required;Preparation of requirement and configuration management progress reports, metrices and presentations for management status reporting; About you Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical). Member of appropriate professional institution(s)Overall experience 10 15 years out of which at least 05 years of full time experience in performing Requirement Management and Configuration Management works on rail transportation systems;Working experience of writing requirement management plan, configuration management plans, systems requirement specifications, configuration baseline reports, stage gate compliance reports, verification report and compliance reports etc;Working experience of derivation of technical and non-technical requirements in railway transportation projects;Working experience of managing configuration of physical assets in a similar railway transportation project;Experience of requirement management using ComplyPro requirement management tool or similar tool;Understanding of the complete life cycle of the railway transportation projects;Functional understanding of the rail systems such as rolling stock including locomotives, wagons, passenger trains and other forms of rolling stock, signalling & train control, traction power system, track works, platform screen doors, automatic fare collection system, depot equipment/plants, operation control centre, building automation control systems, building electrical and mechanical services, civil structural, architectural works etc;Analytical mindset with excellent verbal & written communication in English and ability to interact with non-specialist technical team members;Willingness to work in a collaborative environment involving the client and flexible enough to carry out any tasks required to complete requirement management and configuration management tasks;Experience in review and acceptance of requirement and configuration management deliverables;Prepared and able to travel throughout the Middle East and India;Self-time management to meet tight delivery requirements;Flexible attitude to balance work load and deadlines.Working experience in RAMS involving hazard identification and risk assessment (HAZID/HAZOP), Safety Integrity Level Assessment (SIL), Functional Safety Assessment, Safety Verification and Validation management, Development of Safety Cases (Design/Final/Operation), RAM Modelling and Prediction Analysis (Reliability Block Diagram RBD), Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Corrective and Preventative Maintenance Analysis, RAM Demonstration Test Planning & execution, Failure Recording Analysis Corrective Systems (FRACAS) planning and execution, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Defect Liability Period (DLP) Planning and Execution, Availability Modelling and other RAMS studies and analysis;Experience in the application of systems assurance standards such as EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, IEC 61508 etc.Experience/knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility assurance studies and analysis, human factor and fire life safety management, life cycle cost analysis, software management, security management.Working experience in systems assurance and systems engineering software tools such as Isograph Reliability Workbench (RWB), Isograph Availability Workbench (AVSim+), ComplyPro requirement management tool etc.Middle East or other offshore experience will be highly regardedExperience in mainline freight railway, passenger railway or mixed traffic railway projectsPresentation skills;Good computer skills in MS Office and specialised software tools.,
