The roleSenior Fit-out Manager - Office Spaces Mace in is planning to start a new business line, which mirrors the work done by Mace Interiors in UK. The person will be responsible be developing this business and responsible the entire lifecycle of the initial projects, starting from identifying clients, bidding work and finally project delivery. As the work develops a high quality and effective team will also be developed. Reporting to the country manager and be responsible the delivery of multiple fit-out and finishes contracts related to an office fit-outs to the appropriate standards and expectations that tier A/ 1 multinational and Indian clients expect. Your responsibilities will include: Identifying potential clients and also meeting with other clients identified by the Mace network. Developing a supply chain of vendors who will work together with Mace in the bidding and delivery of projects. Contributing positively with specific experience to the refinement of subcontractors programmes of work. Being proactive and with ownership in contributing to the management of the financial aspects of the fit-out works including budget control, cost reporting and monthly valuations. Motivating, mentoring and leading a multi-faceted team of individuals from both the client organisation, Mace s team and multiple contractors. Reporting progress both formally through written reports as well as face to face with high profile senior client representatives. Monitoring and reporting on the progress of subcontractors against the expectations of their contracts from all perspectives. Liaising with both internal and external design resources to secure design information of an appropriate quality in a manner that facilitates the programme objectives. The requirementsYour experience, knowledge and skills need to include: Minimum of 15 experience including at least 2 in a senior management role delivering high quality and high value office space projects. International project delivery experience is an advantage. PMC experience is preferred. Good knowledge of IT. Ability to control quality by reference to specifications, contract and drawings and through the use of mock-ups and samples. Strong negotiation, motivational, teaching and influencing skills or lead a multi-faceted team of varying skills. Indian experience is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Indian languages. We are seeking people that have worked blue chip, western project management or cost consultancy organisations or the international main contractors. Qualifications A bachelor s degree in civil engineering is essential client approval. Professional membership are an advantage but are not essential. Mace is an equal employer.
