What Youll DoYou will design, engineer and support networking in our offices, data centers and our private cloud that will scale to all global locations.In this role, your work will include networking components to support data, voice, video and unified communications traffic. You ll also ensure the design meets security hardening requirements as well as HA requirements. You will manage, monitor and maintain all components within the firms global IP networks. You ll participate in architectural discussions with enterprise architecture and DevOps teams to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.You ll work across many systems and have the opportunity to master and build expertise in several of them. You will regularly be involved with expanding, enhancing and upgrading the network in an environment consisting of Arista, Cisco Catalyst 6500, 4500, Meraki and other access switches and Cisco IOS routers. You will also have exposure to F5, Riverbeds and Palo Alto platforms.You will work to expand, enhance and upgrade our security services in a Palo Alto, SRX environment and you ll provide support for troubleshooting as well as resolve issues following connectivity problems, outages or performance degradations in the network. You will also enhance and upgrade our data centers in an integrated network and storage environment.Furthermore, you ll have the opportunity to design, develop and manage internal monitoring tools to provide performance dashboards, alerts, notifications and collect data required to proactively identify issues and/or recommend improvements. You ll also research and identify tools, technologies and cloud provider (AWS) enhancements that can be used to improve business operations.,
