Job Description

Senior Manager, IT Audit AssuranceThe IT Audit Assurance (ITAA) has the overall responsibility to manage and leads all aspects of the execution of ITGC, ITAC controls, support audit planning, ensure standard methodology and frameworks are followed throughout the audit life cycle of the in-scope IT environments and domains for the purpose of adhering to various audit guidelines and compliance requirements. The IT Audit Assurance team serves as a linkage between auditors and IT functional owners. The ITAA provides highly valued support through tracking audits timelines, controls, mitigation of risks and issues identified during IT audits. They communicate audit requirements, key risks, and observations reported to appropriate levels of IT Leadership for appropriate remediation and closure.They proactively share IT controls, requirements, related gaps and risks, drive initiatives to improve compliance and effective governance of IT audits. They partner with application owners and other key partners to define controls, identify gaps and prioritize remediation plan based on Risk Control Metrics The ITAA proactively serves as a trusted representative and is the primary IT point of contact to auditees and IT Leadership (CIOs and IT Leadership). Responsibilities

  • Support all internal and external audits, certifications and assessments that touch the CIO organization (across Infrastructure and Applications) - eg. SOX, ISAE, PCI-DSS, HITRUST, Client initiated)
  • Ensuring adherence to timelines for population sharing, sample evidence sharing and clarifications for the observations reported
  • Ensuring closure of audits in time with the tracking of the final observation log
  • Planning and management of entire audit life cycle.
  • Ensuring control owners maintain updated policy documents and SOPs at all times
  • Prepare dashboards to highlight and supervise the progress or challenges
  • Get along with auditors, respective control owners, PoCs for the deliverables
  • Regular Governance with key partners
  • Validate and redefine audit RCM as need be, as per the audit guidelines for all in scope domains
  • Continually assess risk and identify issues as per RCM, and to mitigated them
  • Drive initiatives to remediate the gaps identified during audits
  • Identify and develop policies and standards to ensure the audit controls are carried out optimally and efficiently, e.g. self-assessment
  • Build reports to reduce dependency on control owners for audit data extraction (population, sample evidences)
  • Build a portal to supervise and track complete audit life cycle, and to have a proactive view of potential audit issues/gaps
  • Consolidation of audit register across IT functions
  • Build accountability within IT controls owners, to remove dependency on IT audit assurance team
Qualifications we seek in youMinimum qualifications
  • B. Tech. / MCA with relevant years of work experience in IT
  • A good understanding of IT domains (Applications, Network, Change Management, DB, SLA, Vendor governance etc.). ITIL certification is not vital but will be an add on value to have.
  • Understanding the principles of an IT audit and a good hands-on crafting the dashboards as per the team requirement
Preferred qualifications
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to produce clear requirements, specifications and documentation
  • Good ability to communicate embed information, business process and system wide changes to auditors and auditees.
  • Ability to work with auditors to elicit and formally define their requirements.
