Job Description

To develop the overall strategy for own retail within Country. Lead, support, and drive operational performance to achieve the overall Retail Business objectives.

In particular, this entails the following: 1) Lead own retail business, including: adidas: Sport Performance, Originals, and Factory Outlets Reebok: Fit Hub s and Factory Outlets

2) Meet retail contribution target by planning, executing, and monitoring all strategies related to both the brands, with four areas of focus:

3) Drive consumer obsession within the own retail organization in line with our vision and belief,

4) Manage the countries retail teams Attract, retain, motivate and develop key capabilities and resources in the own retail department.

1. Strategic and Financial Management: Work with Sr. DTC Director on the expansion plans and budget for the Retail Business Units. Manage the retail CAPEX to an agreed budget, together with the Sr. DTC Director Drive retail P&L and achieve objectives as per ambition plan. 2. Retail operation effectiveness and efficiency:
  • Drive and support day - to - day operational performance of own retail by effective target setting, operational planning, KPI monitoring.
  • Reinforce store operating procedures, standards, manuals, tools and processes to keep adidas retail operations at the leading edge
  • Manage customer research programs i.e. MSP, retail exit or CFP and develop follow - up plans together with the markets to improve the result.
  • Ensuring high standards of customer services & brands image of all outlets 3. Strengthen Retail Team s Capability:
  • Build a strong Retail Team. Ensure high level of quality and consistency in retail training at all levels,
  • Take accountability for store NPS and structured consumer feedback sharing Drive HR activities to enhance and sustain retail performance staff planning, recruiting, rewards and incentives, training, Build strong succession plan for own retail employees, Facilitate best practice sharing across the market. 4. Store Development Develop retail store expansion plan, aligned with the overall strategy
  • Work closely with store development, real estate, merchandising, visual merchandising teams to ensure that store are launched on time in the more effective way
  • Competencies: Manage Business, Processes and Projects Financial Understanding of Store P&L and awareness of levers that impacts KPI Analysis and Problem Solving Planning and Organizing
  • Team Building Capability
  • Professional background/ Experience: At least 10 years of retail management experience with a recognized top tier brand Exposure to other retail disciplines is essential especially VM and product merchandising; Industry: Retail/apparel/ fashion/ FW Post - graduation in Business/Retail Management and relevant qualification
