Responsible for product development for the new season. Will have to place sampling programs and production with various factories. Will be responsible for sourcing of the raw material, from the traders / Mills as per the designs teams requirement. Will be responsible for sending sampling fabrics, trims, patterns etc to all the factories and coordinate with them and solve their queries Should have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Should be extremely organized and will be responsible for proper documentation of the development process filing, status reports. Responsible for collection of garment samples, swatches from the vendor Liaising with fabricators. Responsible for the efficient running of entire sample development program and ensure on time submissions. Costing & Negotiation Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs Should be ready to travel out of station for job assignments. OTIFRequired Candidate profileCandidate Must have more than 10 -12 years of relevant experience in Merchandising & Technical knowledge in Apparel Industry in both knits and woven. Candidates with experience in domestic apparel companies especially in Mens Wear will be given preference. ,
