Want to work with great people, in modern offices and have the opportunity to progress and develop your careerTHE PURPOSE OF THE SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER WILL BE: We are growing our Gurgaon office for Senior Software Engineers who can contribute to the programming innovative solutions which will include projects across a variety of solutions in Digital, SaaS/ PaaS, DevOps and Cloud in a global team. As a Senior Software Engineer you will be working with systems that deal with millions of insurance quotes a day and so, by using your knowledge and experience of software engineering, you will help the team continue to provide market leading solutions to our customers. THE SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: To adhere to prescribed SSP development processes, procedures and standards Analysing change requests ranging from minor fixes to major functional changes To adequately test developed software to demonstrate that components meet all functional and technical requirements and to ensure the software is of a high quality To ensure that all relevant documentation is completed to the required standards To take all reasonable steps to complete development within realistic deadlines as requested. To report progress of assignments To assist in the design and specification of components in accordance with the user requirements or system specification To Implement selected solutions and document the changes made To prototype new or amended software in accordance with the technical brief given To work as part of a dedicated team, leading customer engagement To keep the Delivery Manager informed of progress in the prescribed format To highlight any innovations, suggestions or projects which would improve efficiency, professionalism or profitability To produce quality software and accurate estimates within realistic timescales To act as the Application Subject Matter Expert WE D LIKE TO MEET A SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER WITH: Full time Bachelor s degree in Engineering (preferably Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology) At least 4+yrs of experience as Software Developer Should have expertise in- C# .Net, ASP.Net, JavaScript, JQuery WCF, Web API SQL Server (2012 or higher) XML/ XSLT/ XSD TFS (2015 currently in use) Visual Studio 2010 upwards IIS Configuration NuGet Packaging Desired skills Knowledge of Insurance/ BFSI Domain Web interface design Worked in Web Services and Orchestration Knowledge and experience of Agile, Scrum Thorough understanding of Configuration Management concepts and tools. Abide with defined and agreed OLAs.
