What Youll DoYou will be staffed on active client engagements focused on health care value with the ultimate goal of making healthcare better, more affordable and more accessible for billions of people around the world.In this role, you will deliver high-quality analytical outputs to help guide decisions on the business problems for our clients. These analytical outputs range from potential opportunity areas in medical, admin, pharmacy costs to healthcare performance reports used to enhance essential functions within payor organizations to web-accessible dynamic reports using advanced analytics and cloud-based platforms. You will be actively engaged with front-line client teams involved in helping payors implement operational improvements and organizational enhancements that improve experiences and support the quality and cost of healthcare. You will use our proprietary big data and analytical platform, Nebula, which will become a core element of your toolkit. You will also support the development of domain IP including our industry-leading benchmarks.You will need to own data models you create, develop deep healthcare content expertise in the process, think about downstream visualization tools and develop consulting tool kit all of which are critical in solving the overall problem. You will also need to hone project management and client communication skills as you participate in problem-solving sessions with clients and McKinsey leadership.You will collaborate with other MACRO colleagues, SHaPE domains (primarily in healthcare domains such as Provider performance Improvement -PPI, Episodes of Care, Population Health, Healthcare Data Management etc), McKinsey Integrative consultants and other McKinsey teams (Design, Quantum Black, Academy, etc.)You will also devote some portion of time to problem solving and creating new assets/solutions for the domain and practice. For this, you ll also work with MACRO leadership/colleagues and McKinsey consultants in joint problem-solving sessions and drive the process of creating end-to-end solutions in a structured manner.,
