Job Description

Technical Skills required -

  • 2+ years minimum of experience with the ServiceNow platform
  • Extensive experience configuring the ServiceNow platform (Business Rules, UI Actions, UI Policies, Data Policies, Client Scripts, Access Controls ACLs, Roles, User Administration, Workflow, MID Servers, etc.)
  • Service Now integration experience with 3rd party applications using SOAP, REST webservices
  • Experience with Service Portal configuration along with development of the widgets as per the requirement.
  • Experience with XML, HTML, AJAX, Jelly, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap and AngularJS frameworks
  • Maintain and support existing configurations on the platform along with platform stability
  • Follow Service now best practices while implementing enhancements.
  • Manage support queue, resolve Incidents assigned to the group.
  • Manage the version upgrade of the Service now platform and work on the issues found during upgrade.
Functional skills
  • Good understanding of IT Service Management, IT Business Management, ITIL and Scrum Frameworks.
  • Ability to understand the requirements and clarify requirements
  • Feasibility analysis of the customer requirement.
  • Confirm whether the requirements will result in Configuration or Customization.
  • Suggest best suited / alternate ways to implement a functionality with minimum customizations.
  • Suggest new functionalities available with the new ServiceNow releases that results in increased performance and using out of the box functionalities.
  • Validate/Test the fuctionalities during / or after the completion of development.
