JOB DESCRIPTIONTITLE: SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (EPT)REPORTING TO: PROJECT LEADWORKING LOCATION: GURUGRAM , HARYANA.OBJECTIVE:The main objective of this position is to deliver high quality functional IT related support to Eurofins Product Testing Labs.Deliver and maintain high quality software both individually and as part of a team , including performing activities such as; analysis , design , code , testing , documentation , operation , support , etc.Promote high quality engineering of the target solutions;Embrace Agile practices and adhere to Eurofins guidelines in all the phases of the SDLC;Collaborate with users , business analysts , application architects , deployment team(s) and other stakeholders to design and build fit - forpurposesoftware;Develop working relationships within the wider Eurofins IT community and with internal customers;Guarantee that local team delivers on time , and that deliveries are high quality and fit for purpose;Make sure that local team members have necessary technical skills and business knowledge to achieve their tasks.Key responsibilitiesEnsuring good design & development practices and high quality standards are in place in the areas of setup , configuration andcustomization.Ensuring that User Stories are prepared and updated during the whole development process in order to always reflect developments tobe performedEnsuring that extensive Test Cases are properly written / updated and validated in close collaboration with QA Test team fornew or updated features.Extensively testing of new functionalities before their delivery , report issues and follow up on them until deliveredfunctionalities reach the expected level of quality.Coordinate and implement the adoption of new processes , solutions , and tools within Eurofins Product Testing Labs.Analysis , troubleshooting of technical & functional issues across Lab IT Systems / modules and providing end - to - end supportand technical expertise to Eurofins Product Testing Labs.Preparation of technical documentation and solution design specification for new customizations to be performed.Participating in team architectural and design brainstorming sessions Contributing to the troubleshooting , tests and documentation of selected applications functions , at a high quality level.Escalate and follow - up any and all issues that might be a blocker for project.Adhere to Eurofins standard operating procedures in all phases of the software development lifecycle.Key SkillsMandatoryStrong , hands - on technical and good functional skills & experience in multiple projects is a must; experience in solutionsdesign , development & deployments.Strong background in Software Development/ Engineering Experience in testing the functionalities delivered by development team.4+ years Hands on experience on VB6 , Dot Net , MS SQL Server , SQL Databases , Crystal Reports , Visual Studio.Self - motivated and driven to achieve professional success in end - client environment.OptionalProfessional experience required on a similar position , ideally in ERP industry or/ and programming (and design) experience in otherObject Oriented languages and database designingPersonal QualitiesVery good English communication skills (written and oral)Ability to work in a complex international environmentAt ease with distant communications utilizing a wide array of technologies (shared code , documents , phone , chat , email)Ability to communicate technical concepts to other developersResponsive and proactive problem solver Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with ability to make independent judgmentsAbility to understand full business context and end - user needsEager to learn and continuously develop personal and technical capabilitiesAbility to time manages the team commitments to insure feature deliveries on time.TravelThe role may require travel local or International depending upon project requirement.QualificationsBE Computer Science/ MCA or any other Bachelor s degree with the relevant experience.,
