Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience., Required skills:* Excellent C++ and/or Java, XML programming skills* Well-versed with Docker, Kubernetes, REST interfaces* Development experience with multiple Cloud environments like AWS, Azure or OCI* Experience with SaaS development and microservices architecture, distributed systems,data consistency, CI/CD and managed cloud services* Demonstrated ability to quickly understand new technologies and how to apply them* Ability to work on multiple items and determine priority* Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies* Ability to work in and with geographically diverse teamsPreferred skills: * Development experience with telecom protocols (Diameter, HTTP2, SIP) * Experience with 3G/4G/5G networks (LTE, EPC, IoT) and their IWFs * Development experience with network architecture/network elements (load balancers, firewalls, NAT, server sizing) * Knowledgeable about GDPR/data privacy * Experience with Big Data Analytics * Knowledgeable about database technologies
