Members of our team thrive on this environment to build the solutions that power more than 13,000 banks and businesses worldwide.This Software Engineer, Tech Lead. position will be on our Integrated Voice Response (IVR) team and assist in the development of new features such as VoIP and adding functionality requested by our over 600 financial institutions.Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and assist in architecting, developing and implementing software solutions for IVR systems.
  • Works with team members such as Business Analysts, Architects and Product Management to clearly define and document requirements.
  • Assists with diagnosis/troubleshooting of reported problems pertaining to software application.
  • Determines how to best implement the requested changes / customization. This may include working with Development staff, Product Managers, QA staff and Business Analysts.
  • Ensuring all software development standards and guidelines are adhered to and met such as SDLC
  • Assisting in code reviews to ensure quality and security requirements
  • Create and provide technical documentation for new software features developed
  • 3rd level support during and outside business hours
  • Potential travel of less than 5%Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree or related domain experience
  • 8 years of Software Development experience
  • 5+ years of business experience within the Banking and / or Credit Union industries, with particular emphasis on IVR and transactional systems.
  • Experience and knowledge of VoIP preferred
  • 5+ experience with Microsoft SQL
  • Expertise with Microsoft .NET
  • 8 years experience with C#, VB.NET, VB, WCF, WPF
  • 4 years experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML and JQuery
  • Experience developing distributed applications and systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Must be self-directed and highly motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have strong planning skills.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Must be an innovative thinker, as many of the programming requests are for new capabilities.
  • TFS or other source control is preferred.
  • Experience with Agile development preferred.
