*Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically one year of software engineering or related experience., *We are seeking a Software Development Manager to manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs. As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture, and development to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, as well as designing APIs with your knowledge of best practices. You will be responsible for managing a team that builds enhancements within an existing software architecture and to help envision future improvements to the architecture. As a manager you will assist in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives across the team. This position will regularly interact across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure project objectives are met. We are in need of someone who has the vision to drive Industry 4.0 solution priorities for the business by outlining and implementing action-based plans.The ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others is also a key skill needed. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development.Key Responsibilities:You will be responsible to build and grow a team of data and software engineers. You should have technical depth, architectural know how, be strong people and process manager and able to dive deep into any part of the application stack. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be obsessed with making your customers happy

• Strength of experience in cloud infrastructure and platform services related to compute network and storage.
• Demonstrated team leadership of cloud development and implementation of high performance, resilient, testable, and scalable solutions.
• Experience with cloud architecture (OS, Multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability), cloud design patterns and solutions for high availability and disaster recovery for applications.
• Proficient in evaluating scale / reuse and ongoing maintenance costs, quality and risk of usage.
• Leadership developing solutions architecture for private, public and hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services.
• Proven leadership ability to determine recommendations with research based investigation as well as communicate additional options and pros and cons of each.
• Experience in developing libraries of deployable and documented cloud design patterns for team use.
• Very detailed knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
• Providing ongoing contribution to DevOps development activities, automation of common tasks, CI/CD Pipelines, and complex development tasks by using technologies like Kubernetes to operate highly available, high-performance distributed systems.
• Setting clear team objectives, evaluate progress against objectives, and instill a high-performing culture with a focus on accountability
• Practicing sustainable incident response and blameless retrospectives to ensure continual strengthening of the team.

Job Requirements / Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or related field is required. Graduate degree (Masters) preferred. Minimum of 7 years of related experience is required
• 3+ years of people management experience in building and leading successful engineering teams is required
• Detailed knowledge of cloud architecture, cloud design patterns, cloud data management systems, cloud development, and cloud implementations.
• Experience with web security principles and mitigation for common vulnerabilities while building and deploying best in class Cloud products (SaaS Public Cloud deployments).
• Detailed knowledge and experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and Qtest Manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of wide range of products and technologies, including building and orchestration in multi-tenant, virtualized and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes), and open source technologies like NiFi, Kafka and Flume
• Engineering leadership and technical expertise in IoT and Digital twin development.
• Proven to be a development leader who is results driven, agile, positive, and collaborative even when faced with ambiguity.
• Experience working with teams to design/develop IoT integrations with popular vendor / Oracle products or services including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
• Design and implementation experience with Pentaho, SSIS, Data Stage, Informatica, Mulesoft, Kafka, Boomi
• Experience with Big Data, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning along with RESTful API Development & Microservice development.
