This position works as part of Application Development teams to design, build, deploy and support internal applications. The primary responsibilities include developing and unit testing components of software applications based on specifications from the project team and using the architecture defined by the Development Manager/ Lead. The primary technologies used are Microsoft SQL Server, C#.Net and ASP.Net. This position is located in Gurgaon. Responsibilities: Work on teams developing and updating applications primarily using Microsoft development languages and technologies such as the .Net Framework, C#, MVC and SQL Server, plus other technologies and frameworks as required. Work with the senior team members to evaluate functional specification and determine the appropriate approach to developing the required functionality in the application. Follow Bain development project process and standards in assigned tasks and modules and contribute to the continual evolution of processes and standards. Prepare work estimates for assigned components working with support from senior team members. Contribute to evaluating and employing new and/ or supplemental technologies necessary to deliver functionality for a given application. Contribute to the research and evaluation of new tools and technologies beyond current project requirements that are likely to be used in future initiatives. Help in the presentation of findings and recommendations to the full Application Development team. Write unit test plans for assigned components. Execute and confirm successful completion of unit tests prior to release to the Development Manager. Participate in performing application performance testing and implementing changes in design or architecture required by the results. Participate in the testing and implementation of applications releases. With guidance, write technical documentation as required. Provide ongoing support for applications already in use. This includes problem diagnosis and resolution, ad hoc reporting support and database administration. Participate in internal skill development by sharing concepts and technologies with the full development team Qualifications: Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field Proven aptitude for software development High performance and standards as demonstrated by academic or previous job experience 2 to 3 years of relevant applications development experience using Microsoft development technologies including C#.Net, ASP.Net and SQL Server. Experience with JQuery, JSON and AJAX technologies is preferred, but not required. Strong communication and customer service skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Flexible working hours to provide overlap with customers and TSG peers in Boston and North America (that is, work until 8pm most evenings, with a corresponding later morning start time),
