Join us and start doing your lifes best work.(sm)As a Software Engineering Lead, you would work as a part of a dynamic team with a focus on writing code and developing applications leveraging multiple tools, languages, processes, and technologies.Primary Responsibilities:

• Review of requirements and/or systems analysis documents for completeness
• Creation/involvement in documented designs following agreed to design patterns and standards
• Perform Coding and unit testing independently and assist/mentor his team members whenever required
• Adherence to coding standards
• Communicate effectively with other engineers/ QE and onshore team
• Support the QE team during testing via defect fixes, code deployment, clarifications
• Fully encourage and facilitate high quality code through of support QE team efforts including but not limited to mentoring, assistance, and writing/executing automation tests as needed
• Work with the Deployment Lead, peer developers to complete various project deployment activities
• Adhere to proper use of source control
• Responsible for ensuring delivery of technical artifacts for each project
• Mentor developers on technology and application knowledge as needed
• Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize application

Required Qualifications:

• B.Tech/MCA/Msc/MTech (Minimum 16 years of formal education, Correspondence courses are not relevant)
• 7-10 years of experience working with Java/J2EE technologies -Design, development and end to end SDLC experience in Production support environment, etc.
• Strong development experience in front end technologies like JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
• Strong experience in OOAD, MVC, good understanding of OOPS
• Strong experience in SpringBoot Microservices
• Strong experience in DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker
• Strong experience in Cloud-based deployment platforms
• Prior experience in executing Unit Testing using JUnit, Mockito, etc. (Plan, Prepare, and Execute) and automated tests
• Experience with Version Control Systems such as SVN/GIT, etc.
• Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and REST APIs
• Experience with Spring Security, Spring MVC and RESTful web services
• Experience integrating with legacy applications and non-HTTPS-based communication protocols and Enterprise Integration Patterns
• Experience of working in Agile environment
• Extensive understanding of Continuous Delivery pipeline and DevOps culture (SDLC, CI/CD, Monitoring)
• Strong understanding of how technology relates to business, market and industry and ability to apply knowledge to support the needs of critical systems and projects
• Broad-based and in-depth knowledge of complex technologies, tools and methodologies (Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, API First design and gateways)
• Strong knowledge of architectural, design, programming and testing techniques
• Knowledge on Database concepts and minimum DB development skills
• Strong work ethic with ability to work independently, prioritize and manage work to meet critical timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work with IT and business teams to design complex systems and projects
• Ability to reach across the division to work with other enterprise architects in design and code reviews, problem resolution and define IT based solutions for critical business problems and opportunities
• Ability to mentor, guide, coach and lead other team members in the development life cycle and implementations, can work across teams to identify and address potential issues prior to deployment of code into production including performance and capacity constraints
• Ability to create, update and review architecture and design documents

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge on Code review and Unit test frameworks like Node/Jasmine/Grunt/Karma/Protractor, etc.
• Knowledge on Groovy and AngularJS
• Basic knowledge in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
• Knowledge on NO SQL technologies like Mongo DB/Couch, etc.
• Ability to accurately estimate and plan development work accordingly
