We are a startup with amazing perks. As part of this role, you would be joining a focused technology team that builds our website editorialist.comResponsibilities

  • Testing of Web application both UI - front end and backend
  • Work with the development team closely for the feature design and testing phase.
  • Must create end to end test cases and test suites for regression testing
  • Must be able to debug and troubleshooting live site operational issues on priority
  • Create and set up automated test suites both UI and backed using Selenium or any other tool
  • Must be able to do basic performance testing (response time) of web application
  • Ability to handle, own , test and deploy application independently.
Requirements
  • Must have experience in writing and executing good quality test cases for UI front end.
  • Must have experience in backend testing including Database queries. Pulling data from databases like MYSQL, elastic search (good to have) and validating it on front end
  • Must have exposure to working on Linux systems and performing day to day operations like ssh, basic commands, searching server logs, copying files etc
  • Knowledge on automation using Selenium will be added advantage
  • Willing to learn new technologies
Qualifications
  • 1+ years experience in QA Automation
  • 1+ years experience manual testing Web applications both from UI perspective as well as backend data.
