Job Description

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • You create the master test plan for a project and conceives the testing strategy and approach.
  • You drive all aspects of testing phase, ensuring QA/test staff executes effectively and adheres to all adidas processes and standards.
  • You conduct QA reviews and inspections to find potential defects and recommend corrective action, often assisting more junior staff identify defects in more challenging situations.
  • You ensure coordination between and across inter-related projects.
  • You will be the point of contact for engineers to identify and prioritize areas for significant efficiency and confidence gains through test automation.
  • You analyse, track and report on application issues and maintains documentation on project issues and defect metrics/management.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Four-year college or university degree with focus on Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 3-year experience in of overall software quality assurance with exposure to the full product development cycle from requirements through post-release.
  • Experience and exposure to Agile/SCRUM development in combination with JAVA
  • Techie up to date with Agile testing practices and test automation concepts
  • Experience with Selenium and/or Serenity BDD test framework would be an advantage
  • Strong problem solving and test automation skills
  • Proficient spoken and written command of English
