What you will learn and contribute to
• A system specification architect in RAN Specification on 3G/4G/5G as a broad system and product architecture competence and ecosystem understanding, specifies 3G/4G/5G features on system level, configuration as well as the related performance requirements,
• Expert in Radio optimization mechanisms with good understanding of network slicing and automated network optimization to provide zero touch radio automation to ensure radio performance SLAs can be met (Mobility, accessibility etc)
• System architect who can engage and contribute to 3GPP standardization bodies
• Ability to present to customers and engage in deep dive discussions to illustrate the feature design and interworking with other systems
• System engineer designs and specifies 5G slicing system features, Radio Slice controller specifications, and configuration in a cross-domain, multi-vendor, and multi-technology environment.
• System engineering comprises capturing of business, operational, technical, and / or non-functional requirements from the stakeholders and the delivery of an architecture, design, and specification to meet the defined needs and constraints. This contains analysis of use case and feature requests and the definition of conceptual models, operational scenarios, technical requirements, and functional descriptions.
Your skills and experience You have:
• Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 3 years as a system engineering in Radio domain
• Experience and good knowledge in good knowledge of 2G/3G/4G/5G mobile technologies.
• Experience in RAN Specification on 2G/3G/4G/5G as a broad system and
product architecture competence and ecosystem understanding.
• Exposure to 2G/3G/4G/5G features on system level, configuration as well as the related performance requirements
• Clear focus on network evolution, cloud RAN, deployment architectures like Edge
• Exposure 5G slicing system features, Radio Slice controller specifications, and configuration in a cross-domain, multi-vendor and multi-technology environment
• Good understanding of ORAN
• Good Understanding of FCAPS
• Good Understanding of BPMN
• Deep knowledge on 3GPP standards
• Good presentation skills
• Experience with non-functional aspects of product development like security, scalability, availability, performance
• Ability to drive innovation activities to showcase technology leadership
• Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with people at all levels
• Willingness and capability to learn new skills independently and share it with others.
• Flexible, well organized, and self-driven specialist who can communicate effectively in a distributed multinational team
• Very Good English language skills, both written and spoken.
Key responsibilities
• Analysis of customer requirements
• Provisioning of feasibility studies, technical analysis, and performance evaluations
• Specification of concepts and system requirements
• Definition of radio specifications for slicing, radio configuration and provisioning
• Definition of scenarios and performance requirements for verification of features gains
• Work closely with product management to understand e2e requirements and translate it into system specifications which can then be used by development teams for feature realization
• Engage in Pre-Sales, Post-Sales and Delivery in validating the scope, cost, pricing and customer technical documents validation and be an approval entity
• Support of development teams using agile development methods
• Support of feature verification, offering and customer application
• Support of standardization activities from a product background
• Support for the creation of customer documentation
• Support/coordination of analysis of internal/customer error reports
