Job Description

    As a professional in Finance Systems and Solutions at VMware, you will be a part of a team that provides an integrated approach to technology implementations that help tax departments maximize the strategic value to the organization. You will deliver services through implementing tax solutions related to enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and tax applications.As a Tax Technology consultant, you will contribute to the growth and success of VMware Inc. in a variety of ways, including: Integrate, design, configure, implement Vertex tax software solutions for enterprise applications for both sales and purchasing activities globally. Manage and deliver components of SAP/Direct Tax/ Indirect Tax projects and teams. Develop processes for ongoing maintenance global indirect tax logic rules in tax engine content. Gather global Direct Tax/Indirect tax business requirements and prepare BRD for tax solutions with multiple systems. Provide guidance and support the business and product areas as to systems and process impact resulting from changes in global tax rules/regulations. Work with internal teams in prioritizing system changes, feature requests, and system improvements, automations, and testing. Work on day-to-day production issues related to Indirect tax and provide guidance and fixes as required.,
