Job Description

    The job is responsible for providing effective support of projects/operational support tasks, dealing with all relevant issues with minimum guidance of the manager. He/she has a team of network engineers to provide support in the formulation of network, technology, systems and information strategy and evolution of plans. The job provides assistance in meeting business objectives, solving business problems and furthering business success by applying industry applications and technical knowledge through the definition of high level solutions on projects or the development of operational processes and procedures.The role holder should leverage the experience of the relevant BT wide professional communities to discharge these responsibilities, thus ensuring knowledge sharing extends beyond the functional boundary of the role. Youll have the following responsibilities q Govern the contractual SLA and BT Service Assurance KPI s for Netco Model office like FCR (First Contract Resolution ) and MTTR (Mean Time to repair), NPSq Provide analytical and innovative input to projects/operational support tasks as well as support negotiations. q Lead on a specific deliverable of a small/medium scale project or implement smaller less complex projects to achieve required business benefits and manage budget, timescales and quality.q Identification of underlying problems and driving through problem management to resolution (PM)q Assist transformation strategy for a network or technology discipline in own area of expertiseq Participate in and contribute to BT wide professional community activities where applicable e.g. knowledge sharing, best practice within BT and external industry. q Proactively raise improvement opportunities, and own small, incremental bugs to completion. Performing enhanced diagnostics on standard products for complex issues as well as for products that demand specific technical knowledge.q Delivere trainings to SSREs and build active coaching plans with a vision to upskill SSREs. Business Impact: High impact on customer satisfaction and retention of contracts Youll have the following skills & experience Qualifications: q Good written and verbal English skillsq SDWAN Cisco(Viptela) Agile Connect(Nokia Nuage) Cloud(AWS/Azure/Oracle/Google)q Good understanding of hybrid cloud solutions and experience of integrating public cloud into tradition hosting/delivery modelsq Understanding to manage Multicloude network. Skills/Experience : q At least 7+ years of relevant experience q Expert level understanding atleat 2 Cloude technologies.q Expert level understanding on Cisco Data(Routing and Switching)q Expert level understanding of SDWAN technologies for CISCO/MERAKI.q Knowledge on cloud components like AWS, Azure, Oracle, google along with DyNS will be preferred. q Full level understanding of the BT products solutions to a solid basic level (e.g. same as Sales roles) and in depth BTs operational/service processes would be beneficialq Solution designing and multi-layer troubleshootingq Technical knowledge for WLAN products and services including intermediate level knowledge of ISE.q Expert level Technical understanding of architecture and design flowsq Hands on experience developing architectural designs, processes, procedures and working on cloud infra projects such as migration to public clouds (MS Azure & AWS);q Basic knowledge of security flow and firewalls in the network.q Ability to organize and attend on international conference call and discuss technical issuesq Experience in operation of end to end customer solutions Soft Skills : q Excellent communication, Interpersonal and Negotiation skills - internally, analytical thinking and customer facingq Collaborative Partnering with all the right peopleq Managing internal and external stakeholdersq Self-starter, able to work with minimal guidance and supervisionq Team-player with good coaching skills, eager to learn and also share skills and experienceq Enthusiastic and pro-active with a desire to improve service for the customer, and other internal usersKeen learner and support CI environment, *.
