Job Description

SBI Cards-Storage & BackupStorage L3:

  1. Experience in Brocade and CISCO switches
  2. Sound knowledge about detecting slowness on SAN switches using tools Like BNA and SAN navigator
  3. Identify the hardware issues and handle operations
  4. Reporting with good analytical skills
  5. Should have the sound knowledge about following vendor storage
  • Hitachi Enterprise & Mid Range arrays
  • HPE Enterprise & Mid Range arrays
  • EMC Enterprise & Mid Range arrays (Block & Files)
  • Brocade SAN Switches Enterprise & Mid Range
  • CISCO SAN Switches Enterprise & Mid Range
  • MGMT Tools of above Devices
  • Admin level knowledge on above products.
  • Advanced Knowledge like Storage migration, replication, etc.
  1. Hands on experience on SAN migration like Hitachi to HP and vice versa
  2. Ability to handle client queries and managing the team.
Linux Administrator L3 1. He should have Minimum 9+ years of working experience and at least 8+ years on UNIX & Linux System Administration. 2. Hands on experience on supporting Linux (Oracle or RedHat), Solaris, AIX, HPUX or OpenVMS 3. Preferable technical skills on Linux OS Specifically RHEL 6.x, 7.x , Oracle Linux and Red Hat Virtualization. 4. The person should be supporting minimum of 2 enterprise UNIX flavours.5. Working knowledge on Backup tools like data protector, Vertias , etc.6. Understanding on Storage configuration7. Good Knowledge of ITIL processes.8. Documentation knowledge, Creating Incident Reports, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) etc.9. Upgrade, Migrate and configure the Operating System 10. Interrupt and manage boot process 11. Patch management 12. Understanding of kernel parameters and how they can be set. 13. Sound understanding of clustering solutions 14. Utilize remote consoles and terminal servers to access customer servers 15. Develop good understanding of one or two Unix related technologies (such as Send Mail, Web Services)16. Administer / Troubleshoot disks task using volume management and LUN creation and allocation utilities17. Understand the impact of particular processes, what processes should be running on a server and how they should be configured 18. Ability to configure / troubleshoot security tools in the Unix environment19. Write well-constructed shell scripts with functional routines20. Automation via Scripting21. Thorough understanding of monitoring and reporting tools22.
