Job Description

Designation - Senior Software EngineerLocation - GurgaonExp - 3-5 yrsMax Ctc - 10 lpaResponsible for Level 2 Database administration of Oracle Databases as primary technology.Working knowledge of Middleware applications like Tomcat Apache , Jonas, WebLogic is also desirable.

  • Ensure availability of Database services as per clients agreement.
  • Ensure the consistent Level-2 support to team and customers
  • Ensure SLAs for ticket are met.
  • Prepare the reports as per business need.
  • Ensure DBs are available, reliable, work at optimum.
  • Management of Mean Time To Restore Service targets
  • Provision of effective and efficient running of the systems and ensure its optimum performance
  • All the change requests are worked upon and are compliant.
Educational Qualifications
  • University degree in Engineering or Science, Master degree in Computer Science/Applications or BS Computer or equivalent with 60% or above.
OCA certification is preferred.Desired skills/knowledge
  • L2 level knowledge in Oracle Database administration version 12c / 11g / 10g.
  • Excellent Knowledge and experience in Oracle instance installation, configuration, Performance Tuning, DB upgrade, migration, DB cloning.
  • Basic knowledge in Oracle 12c/11g RAC (Design, Installation, Configuration, Administration)
  • Good Knowledge and experience in Backup and Recovery including RMAN and other tools.
  • Good knowledge and hands on experience of database HADR.
  • Good understanding of UnixLinux platform (Shell Scripting preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Middleware application like Apache Tomcat , Jonas , Weblogic.
  • Willingness to provide database support on rotational basis, 24 X 7, when needed.
  • Strong communication skills and Good interpersonal skills and has good client handling experience.
  • Ability to quickly take ownership of new technologies in hisher technical domain.
