S2P is a priority service line for the Company, and we help our clients transform and deliver demonstrable impact to their performance and bottom line. Whilst the focus of the role is primarily client delivery, you will also be increasingly exposed to and actively involved in the ongoing development of our service offerings. This will include developing intellectual property (IP) as well as client pursuits and commercial proposals as part of our commitment to continued professional growth and development Responsibilities
• Overall Procurement Transformation and Supply Chain optimization
• Operating Model design and implementation including Capability assessment and uplift
• Category Transformation development and implementation of business-aligned category strategies
• Supplier Management, Supplier Development and Strategic Relationship optimization programs
• Management and delivery of key strategic sourcing projects
• Risk management, responsible procurement, and sustainability initiatives
• P2P and Procurement Operations transformation/improvement
Qualifications Minimum qualifications
• Years of industry and/or consulting experience
• Detailed and practical knowledge/experience of end-to-end procurement/sourcing activity including strategy formulation, P2P, strategic sourcing, demand and supply planning, supplier/contract management and exit.
• Experience of outsourcing (design, sourcing, transition, contract management, exit) is advantageous.
• Significant experience of leading supplier management /development programs, delivering process efficiencies and value optimization.
• Experience in understanding the cost components of a product / service is essential and applying strategies to reduce cost and increase value (via price, specification, usage and compliance).
• Experience in working with cross functional teams, either regionally or globally, with strong project / program management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire teams to deliver results.
• Analytical skills to identify business and commercial risks to stakeholders and propose solutions which are supported by data and analysis
• Demonstrated delivery of significant and tangible business results not just savings but broader financial contributions, risk mitigation, capability uplift, access to innovation and operational efficiencies
• Comfort with ambiguity/complexity - able to diagnose a situation/issue and structure a program to deliver the required resolution or outcome
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
• Ability to travel to the client locations
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster an environment of collaboration and excellence
• Pre-Sales experience or industry experience.
