Job Description

Proven Experience Environment, Health and Safety, Should have around 10+ years of experience in Integrated/Mother plant (Cement, Mines and Power plant) industries. Have self-motivated, committed and determined in achieving goals. A team player with good communication skills and a sound knowledge in Environment, Health and SafetyKey Skills: Occupational Safety and health :Personal protective equipment usage, Tools and tackles, lifting tools, Scaffoldings, Risk assessment, Electrical safety, Welding work, Training, Precautions, Development & implementation of safety system/local procedure, Site/crew training, work in a highly collaborative environment, implementation of EMS in line with ISO 14001, regular health surveillance program of people and corrective action in OHSAS 18001, conducting EHS & OHS inspection/audits.Environment: Obtaining various clearances like Environmental Clearance, Consent to Establishment/Operate, Statutory Compliance report preparation and submission to MoEF& CC-RO, SPCB, CPCB, SEIAA, etc, Online monitoring connectivity to CPCB/SPCB, Greenbelt Development, Groundwater/Surface Water NOC from CGWA/SGWB, ISO Certification, Mine plan approval from DGMS, ETP/STP operation/maintenance, Hazardous waste authorization, Greenfield project drawing approval from Factory & Boiler department, etc. Environmental Clearance, IMS (Integrated Management System, IS/ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 & Energy management system:50001), Green belt development, AAQMS, Stack, Noise, Water external lab monitoring work follow-up and report submission to SPCB. Online Stack & Ambient station connectivity and date transmitted to CPCB & SPCB server. Development of Rain water harvesting ponds, Submission of monthly monitoring report to SPCB, Six month compliance report submission to MoEF & CC-RO, Submission of Form V Environmental Statement (Yearly), Ground water/Surface water digital Flow meter logbook maintenance and monthly water bill payment to Irrigation department, etc including CSR Activities.Clearance obtained from various departments:

  • Environmental Clearance from MoEF & CC and State
  • CTE/CTO/Hazardous waste authorization from State Pollution Control Board.
  • DGMS office for Mining plan approval, IBM, Royalty payment, etc.
  • Forest clearance from forest department upto 4th stage
  • Drawing approval from Factory and Boilers.
  • Ground water NOC from CGWA & State Govt. DoWR and Surface water.
  • Approval from initial and final Fire fighting NOC.
  • Approval Bridge/Culvert permission from Drainage department
  • Workmen approval from labour department.
  • Product License from BIS (PPC, PSC, OPC&CC, etc)
  • Bridge/Culvert permission from Drainage department
  • Incentives from Directorate of Industries,
  • Single Window Clearance from IPICOL
  • Purchase of land from IDCO, Tahasil office & District collector office and land conversion to industry land.
  • District Forest Officer recommended species letter
  • Explosive Licence for fuel storage
  • Weights & Measures Certificate (Legal Metrology) Flow meter, Weigh bridge, etc

  • Guidelines given by the Ministry of Environment and Forests

  • Code of Practice on Occupational Safety and Health
