Job Description

We are Urgently Hiring For Head of Finance for an eminent Group Company in the North East.Location : GuwahatiRole Objective:The Head -Finance is expected to-

  • Set and achieve monthly benchmarks on margins and control the expenditures planned as per ABP and monthly targets- Daily Fund management as per monthly budgets
  • Ensure all monthly and annual statutory compliances, regulatory formalities, insurance policies, other voluntary/ statutory formalities important for the business.
  • Ensure maintenance of accounts, updated ledgers and booking of expenses, monthly P&L preparation and maintaining financial ratios as per set benchmarks.
  • Set up and monitor the supply chain and procurement activities from both domestic and imported sources following the necessary financial management.
  • Develop sound managerial capabilities and execute by proper motivation and team development of necessary support staff.
Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant; Proficiency in SAP (B1)Experience: 10 to 15 Years Experience with relevant experience of leading teamsPreferred Background: Any industry but exposure to manufacturing industry preferredAge: 40 - 45 YrsFunctional Competencies
  • Domain knowledge on finance, accounting, banking instruments, facilities, time to time updates- Gazette Notifications
  • Proficiency in SAP (B1)
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Attention to detail The ability to plan meticulously for implementation

ResponsibilitiesFinance & Banking1. Undertakes allocation of funds and treasury management2. Negotiates with banks and ensures compliances with bank formalities, operations and reporting.3. Undertakes necessary managerial controls to achieve set cost targets & contribution levels.4. Develops decision options on capital expenditures; maintain asset registers.Accounts & Administration5. Ensures finalization of accounts of other firms/ companies associated with Group6. Coordinates with statutory auditors for audit of accounts7. Ensures timely filing of returns and statutory compliances.8. Undertakes debtors and creditors control as per policy reconciles and settle accounts in a timely manner.9. Prepares MIS and informs management on daily performance of financials as per set formatCommercial & Statutory10. Ensure all direct and indirect tax compliances and timely submission of returns as well as liaison with relevant authorities as per functional directions on assessments, audits, queries etc.11. Ensure coverage of all employees, assets and consumables under appropriate insurance policies relevant to business12. Protects legal areas of the companies by complying with necessary contracts/ agreements, wherever required.Supply Chain13. Undertakes purchasing of material and consumables through appropriate systems and approvals.14. Ensure organized negotiations and follows up with vendors for material procurement and payments15. Monitor performance of the team through the performance management system and builds succession pipeline.Key Internal Interfaces
