Job Description

Establish inventory targets based on business forecasts, sales history etc. and upload such targets into the SAP planning module Advance Planning Optimizer (APO) and review.

Review planning results from APO and coordinate with suppliers wherever there is under / over planning w.r.t. the targets.

Regularly follow up with suppliers for timely supply of products to India. Work with Supply chain Manager for escalations in case of material shortages.

Maintain inventory both in terms of inventory value and inventory weeks within the targets defined in operating plan.

Minimize inventory obsolescence, back orders by taking actions necessary.

Carry out SAP master data activities like Material master creation/updates, vendor master creation/updates, inventory target setting / updates etc
