Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Understanding the business requirements and generate/ execute Test cases.
  • Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives.
  • Design and create Test cases based on analysis of Business requirements, Functional requirements and Design documents.
  • Work with Senior team members to develop automation strategy/ effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles.
  • To contribute and support development of Technical, Domain knowledge within the testing team.
  • Working closely with development team in resolving issues.
  • Support process improvement within the testing practice.
  • Involvement in Functional testing, Load testing, Regression testing, System testing, Integration testing and Database testing.
  • Defect management and reporting - Communicating defect issues to PMO and back to client upon request.
DESIRED QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILL:
  • UG - B.Tech/ B.E. OR PG - M.Tech, MCA, MSc- IT
  • Minimum 2- 3 years experience in Software Industry
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills and committed to highest level of professional and personal excellence.
  • Good oral and writing skills. Formal documentation creation.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • AGILE & SCRUM experience.
  • Strong Shell Scripting skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux/ Unix.
  • Strong SQL Server skills & Good knowledge of Databases - e.g. Oracle/ MySQL.
  • Experience in bug tracking and reporting systems tool like Bugzilla.
  • Experience in Functional/ Web Automation testing tools like Webdriver and TestNG.
  • Experience in Performance Testing Tools like JMeter, WebLoad, OpenSTA.
  • Experience in API testing
  • Involved in GUI Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, Performance Testing, System Testing, Load testing.
  • Ability to write code in Java
