Job Description

GM/AVP - Legal For Construction Division (PAN INDIA)

  • Heading the legal wing of the group for all commercial Industrial, Infrastructure Projects, and managing a team of Advocates from various group companies in vetting and finalizing various kinds of Legal Documents. Looking after all legal matters which include Arbitration Cases, Cases in State / District Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, at Local Court and High Court cases. Complying with the due diligence procedure for acquiring land along with registration of Conveyance Deed, Lease Deed etc.
  • Actively participated in acquiring lands from various multinational organizations for upcoming projects by finalizing and registration of the Lease Deed / sale deed after proper land documents searching.
  • To finalize all court cases documents, Allotment Letters, Allotment Agreement, Agreement for Sale, Conveyance Deed, Lease Deed, General Terms & Conditions, Vendor Contracts, Agreements, MOU, NDA etc.
  • Assuming full overall responsibility for all litigation matters/Court cases in various Judicial / Appellate Forums viz Courts, Tribunals, Arbitration Forums, relating to Civil and Criminal Law etc.
  • Independently appoint, liaison and strategize with them to achieve the objectives of the group.
  • Registration of projects under RERA / WBHIRA Laws and legal compliances with regards to the same.
  • Being a part of the negotiation team of the company from legal perspective
Looking all Litigation and Non litigation that includes matters pertaining to Real Estate & infrastructure sector along with farming, Infrastructural sectors across India. Managing in house and outside legal support system. Handles personally civil suits, complaints, NCLT, drafting of agreements, bid and tender procedures, NHAI, EPC contracts, Various Film agreements, loan agreements, JVs, POA, Notices, replies, RERA,138 of NI Act, commercial documents , PILs, concessionaires and all other legal matters. Representing company and appearing before various courts and forums. Advising management, arranging conferences and legal meetings, coordinating with designated senior advocates and solicitors, preparing legal defense strategy in the matters pending adjudication. Experience of handling high stake matters independently.
