Position: Sr. Project Manager Directly Reporting: A.V.P. PHS Key Stakeholders: Sales, Product Management, Design, Purchase, Production, QA/QC Location: Hosur Organization : A leading Swedish MNC Job Purpose: To Manage all aspects of an engineering project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. Main Responsibilities 1. Project Schedule Plan, communicate, and implement for completing the project, monitor progress and performance against the project plan, take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays 2. Identify, develop, gather and allocate the resources necessary to complete the project 3. This may include preparing work specifications, developing project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and clearing bottlenecks for smooth execution. 4. Estimate the costs, resources, and time required to complete an engineering project and monitor activities, allocate resources, and assign tasks to ensure these targets are met. 5. Liaise with other operational areas in the organization (for example engineering, Proposal, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistic) to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project 6. Select, and manage the activities of, outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service 7. Conduct project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team 8. Prepare and maintain project documentation and records; develop schedules 9. Set priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones 10. Track customer deliverables like stage payment, despatch clearance, final payment, final documents and after sales customer satisfaction 11. Coach and mentor project staff and assist them to solve bottlenecks 12. Develop and train project engineers to understand the project function and do their duties professionally ,
