Job Description

Greetings from Vaayuja Info Solutions.We have a Requirement on Academic Research Specialist with one of my esteemed Clients.Location-HyderabadThe Academic Research Specialist will be responsible for initiating academic research in the following areas: e-learning, medical education and pedagogy, online learning methodologies and effectiveness, learning outcomes and other niche areas in online medical education.The Academic Research Specialist will have to draw up research protocols in these areas, conduct original research work, and perform analysis of the research data and author publications. The publications will be in the form of original articles in journals, whitepapers, articles for magazines and other media.Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for identifying relevant research questions, designing appropriate study methodologies, performing the study, authoring the report, manuscript writing and publication planning in the best-suited channel and format.
  • Formulate research questions based on internal data and external industry trends
  • Conceptualize study design
  • Survey administration (in case of survey studies), data collection, management, interpretation, visualization
  • Writing reports, original articles, and whitepapers
  • Publication planning and execution
Desired Skills :
  • This role is best suited for candidates with a strong background in academic research and possessing adequate skills and experience in study design, data analysis and interpretation, manuscript writing, and navigating the journal publishing process.
  • Postgraduates/PhDs in education field with formal training and experience in research methodology and statistical analysis may be an ideal fit.
  • Graduate/Post-graduate degree in Life sciences/Pharma/Medical streams with strong academic research and publication writing skills will also be considered
  • Research skills: Experience and proven expertise in research methodologies, study design, data analysis, and interpretation, and presentation. Ability to structure and present research findings and data into reports. Good analytical and problem-solving skills and a questioning mind.
  • High proficiency and comfort with using MS Excel and PPT, Written Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to concisely and accurately communicate scientific information.
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills: Able to interact with faculty and other team members in a professional manner.
  • The candidate should be self-motivated, comfortable working and driving our publication goals independently, have excellent project management skills and deadline compliance, and good at collaborating with people across seniority levels both internally and externally.
