Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage cash application process for Global team , including transition from US Finance Team and build out of team to execute.
  • Assist with overall management of audit engagements both Internal and External, proactively work with Finance to ensure appropriate deployment of Accounting policy.
  • Lead various month-end close activities and deliverables, including tracking performance of
Segregation of Duty (SOD) mitigating control, journal entry, and account reconciliation review.
  • Own ERP system maintenance and setup such as, GL Hierarchy, Opening and Closing fiscal periods, and CER/Project # assignment once appropriate approvals are acquired.
  • Providing employee coding information required during new user set-up in Axapta, proactively monitor, approval processes to ensure they meet authorization and audit expectations.
  • Partner with US Finance Team in identification and execution of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Be a key leader in our current ERP upgrade from AX09 to D365
Experience and SkillRequired
  • Minimum 7-10 years experience in financial functions with a track record of progression.
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience within a manufacturing company.
  • Bachelors Degree in accounting/finance/business or related field and CPA designation
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite and ERP systems in general.
  • Prior Project Management experience and/or training would be helpful.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to work well on a cross functional team, operate in a cooperative work environment, and drives continuous improvement.
  • Detail oriented perspective and drives accountability.
  • Well organized and self- directed individual.
  • Excellent understanding of financial reports and analysis
  • Highly motivated with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
