We are building the most sustainable re-use channel we can by driving multiple aspects of the Circular Economy for Amazon - returns, recommerce, and sustainability.As an Administrative Assistant for WWRR&S Customer Returns team, you will help drive a positive and engaged employee base by supporting the HR and Leadership team. The successful candidate will be highly organized, extremely detail oriented, self-motivated, able to handle confidential information, as well as a demonstrated ability to respond effectively to changing workloads and priorities. Must have the ability to communicate well and to manage multiple assignments and people simultaneously.Core Responsibilities include: Deliver concierge-style service to all guests (clients, partners, employees and candidates); meet and greet upon arrival, ensuring to follow all security protocols Maintaining schedules, planning events, and meeting coordination Own and manage conference room coordination and room calendar management Conduct clerical duties, including filing, full office management, responding to emails, preparing documents and presentations using graphics, graphs, and internal information and platforms Order and maintain office supplies; maintain vendor relationships with all office suppliers Capture meeting notes, creating meeting agendas and minor content creation Scheduling cost effective travel arrangements which include airfare/hotel/ground transportation for Senior Leader(s) as needed Assist with internal communications for employees and leadership among multiple platforms, interfaces, and programs Work with outside vendors to coordinate upkeep, and office maintenance Run work-related errands as needed Think and plan ahead, delegate responsibilities appropriately and manage time effectively Compile team goals, track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items. Management of complex calendars and scheduling with diplomacy and discretion Coordinate closely with Workforce Management, Recruiting, Facilities, Human Resources, and other teams as needed Lead department team-building activities and peer recognition Drive a positive and engaged employee base by participating in and communicating engagement activities and other employee related tasks Serve as a point person and liaison to address any IT, facility, or security concerns/needs Work closely with Hiring Managers and the HR team to support and provide an exceptional new hire experience Develop positive rapport with candidates during the interview process to ensure information needed is received at each stage of the process Other duties and responsibilities as assignedWe are a group that has fun at work while driving incredible customer, business, and environmental impact.
