Job Description

    Hyderabad - Admission Counselor -2 yrs exp - Edtech experience mandatory Telugu Speaking Mandatory Career Guide / Admission CounselorJob IntroductionA Career Guide supports individuals in making informed career choices by offering personalized advice on career paths, skill development, and job market trends. They assess clients strengths and interests to recommend suitable career options and educational programs. Career Guides work with students, graduates, and professionals seeking career growth or change. Strong counseling and communication skills are key to helping clients achieve their career goals. Responsible for the end-to-end student admission cycle.Roles & Responsibilities
    • Recruitment Evaluation: Evaluate student recruitment techniques by determining the effectiveness of each recruitment technique.
    • Student Onboarding & Screening: Welcome prospective students by processing paperwork, interviewing applicants, and conducting follow-up activities such as email and phone-calling campaigns.
    • Inquiry Management: Handle student enquiries effectively.
    • Course Consultation: Explain to the candidate the available IT courses, payment plans, and resolve their doubts and queries accordingly.
    • Admission Pipeline & Fees: Follow up with candidates for joining the course/programme and coordinate payments. Make follow-up calls for due payments from the candidates.
    • Batch Scheduling: Ensure timely updation and scheduling of upcoming batches to all concerned team members, trainers, and students.
    • Target Ownership: Achieve conversion and enrollment targets set by the Branch Manager.
    • Database Management: Maintain a Management Information System (MIS) of the students who have taken admissions or have made enquiries.
    • Alumni Engagement: Develop a healthy alumni network and arrange student interactive sessions.
    • Operational Compliance: Maintain recruiting operations by following established policies and procedures, and reporting needed changes.
    • Brand Reputation: Enhance the admissions department and institute reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests for admissions.
    • General Duties: Execute any other work allotted by the management.
    Job Qualification & Skill Sets
    • Education: A bachelors degree in psychology, counseling, human resources, education, or a related field. A masters degree or certifications in career counseling is a plus.
    • Experience: Prior experience in career counseling, coaching, HR, or a related field is highly preferred.
    • Certifications: Certifications in career guidance or coaching (e.g., Certified Career Counselor) can be beneficial.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to provide clear guidance and support.
    • Client Handling: Ability to present services effectively, address client concerns, and encourage commitment to career guidance programs.
