Job Description

Rates Onyx is the strategic front office Trade Capture in bonds space and also supports post trade workflows (Compliant to MIFID-II). It is the one stop solution for USTA desk from Risk, Trade capture, post trade amends and has connectivity to STP engine that books trades into BBG

Responsibilities

  • Work with onsite team to determine needs and applycustomize existing technology to meet those requirements
  • Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects.
  • Maintain and support multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Document and report application specifics.

Requirements

  • Education: B.E. B. TechM.E.M. TechBSCMSCBCAMCA (prefer ITCS specialization)
  • Certifications If Any: NA
  • Experience Range: 4 - 6 yrs

    • Mandatory Skill:

    • 4 - 6 years Java development experience Python, Core Java and J2EE technologies
    • Strong domain knowledge and product knowledge
    • Strong Investment Banking Domain
    • Strong Problem Identifying and solving ability
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Highly committed and ability to work in fast paced environment against tight deadlines
    • Ability to work in international virtual teams and in matrix structures and being a good team player
    • Positive attitude to resolve problems and ability to work odd hours to support the business demands
    • Should be willing to work on python

    Desired skills:

    • Strong analytical skills
    • A proactive approach to problem solving and think innovatively
    • Quartz knowledge would be beneficial
