Job Description

Job Title: BI AnalystLocation: HyderabadRole PurposeWe re Entain. The ideal candidate will be a self-sufficient individual with experience within analytics, a strong mathematical background, good communication skills and be a real team player. You will be part of the Gaming Performance team, which provides analytical support for the casino group and you will be involved in all aspects of customer analysis.As a BI analyst, you will be responsible for the improvement of Performance for across all of our brands. This is a highly dynamic role, which gives great exposure to various data sources and challenges you to understand the numbers and analyse behavioral trends.The ideal Candidate will have the drive to make changes, challenge the status quo and be capable of defining direction from ambiguous project scopes.Primary Responsibilities:Data analysis:

  • Perform ad hoc analysis for management when required in addition to daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting
  • Handle large scale analysis tasks end to end.
  • Interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings
  • Develop graphs, reports and presentations of project results
  • Create and present quality dashboards
Daily operations:
  • Conduct research and identify problematic areas to determine the best course of action to correct the data
  • Support CRM and acquisition teams with customer and on-site insights
  • Analyse the game portfolio across the different territories to improve group performance against targets
  • Analyse promotions and calculate ROI and give recommendations to the operations team
  • Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Specialist skills and experience:
  • Commercial and Strategic mindset
  • Advanced SQL
  • Advanced Skills in reporting tools Tableau / Microstrategy or similar
  • Knowledge of Python/R
  • Exceptional data wrangling skills dealing with complex disparate datasets to combine and automate the analytics workflow
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels of an organisation, fostering strong cross-functional network
  • Ability to transform complex facts and figures into plain English that can be easily understood, coupled with exceptional presentation skills
  • Experience in web analytics tools is an advantage - Omniture / Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with eGaming KPIs, terminology and business model is an advantage
  • Must have a mathematical background or have worked in an analytical role previously
