Job Description

  • The eDiscovery analyst works within the Global Security Department to administer backend collection and processing scripts for investigation and eDiscovery requests using a variety of technical tools. The analyst works with members of the Forensics and eDiscovery Team to gather requirements and implement technical solutions to support investigations and eDiscovery requests. Additional responsibilities include technical support for databases and application packages.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
  • Responsible for initiating and completing eDiscovery backend scripts and Regex expressions
  • Create, process, and prepare case data for ingestion and review by legal, compliance, and other non-technical stakeholders
  • Thoroughly document and maintain administrative logs related to investigation requests and case processing status
  • Manage data associated with investigations, including collections from O365, utilizing powershell and java code creations, ensuring file permissions and user accounts are properly configured with the appropriate data integrity controls
  • Assist the eDiscovery team with developing complex queries to analyze data for investigations
  • Provide backend support for MySQL, SQL Server and other databases in use by forensic and eDiscovery applications
  • Build and maintain Enterprise Vault backend indices and structure through the execution of hotfix and repair scripts from Veritas
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best pratices for eDiscovery tools and technologiesWork Experience / Knowledge:
  • 2+ years experience in peforming eDiscovery and digital forensic related backend technical support services
  • Strong knowledge and technical proficiency with Nuix and/or Ringtail software
  • Knowledge and experience using Enterprise Vault Discovery Accelerator
  • Knowledge and understanding of scripting languages, including Python Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required: Excellent communication skills Responsible and good moral character; maintain utmost integrity while in a position of trust Ability to prioritize and work under pressure Passion for excellence through strong execution Collaborates and builds trusting relationships at all levels of the organization Entrepreneurial spirit that promotes innovation and continuous improvement Thinks ahead and makes fact based decisions.
  • Prefer experience with rules of evidene associated legal procecdures from United States, United Kingdom, or Canadian based Judical Systems
Formal Education / TRAINING:
  • Bachelor s degree, preferably in a technical field such as Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or Digital Forensics
  • Certification and training related to Nuix and/or Discovery Accerlator is highly desired
  • Ability to obtain Nuix Administrator certification, within 6 months (if not already held)
  • Certifications and training related to Microsoft Windows Server are preferred, but not required Working Conditions:
  • Primarily business hours, but special projects may include evenings and/or weekends
  • Office working environment
  • Minimal travel may be required for training and/or special projects
