Job Description

  • Understanding of Global Markets systems, Technology processes and internal control programs related to Global Functions and offshore Delivery environments
  • Good understanding of Application development and Infrastructure Change management standards
  • Understanding, working experience and IT general controls
  • Experience of auditing Applications, Databases, Operating Systems and Network Devices
  • Knowledge of Risk based assessments

    • Responsibilities

    GMOT Risk and Controls is responsible for building risk culture and ensure capabilities are in place to drive execution of the operational risk management framework, including implementing GBAMT-specific processes/tools in order to adhere to enterprise-wide policies and standards with GMOT Technology and Operations delivery. This includes monitoring and testing of key controls across high risk functions, Issue management, Access Management, and support for Audit Regulatory exams. The GMOT Risk Controls team works with Application Managers and COOs across all lines in Global Markets to ensure that control gaps are identified and remediated

    The role is to provide support to the GMOT Risk and Control team in the areas of:

    Risk Project Status Reporting / Analytics.

    Coordinate or collaborate on weekly and monthly meetings, reports and monitoring of various issues and Risk Controls Program management routines.

    Requirements

    Education: Masters / Bachelors in Science

    Certifications: Other Risk Management Degree (with relevant IT risk internal controls experience) would be a plus

    Experience Range: 4 - 7 yrs

    Mandatory skills:

  • Develop operational understanding and capability for use of Risk and Control tools (SharePoint, RISE, CM, CPT, eIMS, Access Review tools and others)
  • Preparing relevant risk and control procedure documentation for reference and use by the Risk and Control team and application contacts, where required.
  • Partner with key Technology Managers to monitor and manage various risk programs across the firm.
  • Support technology teams in supporting firm-wide risk programs (i.e. delivering requested artefacts, verify completeness / accuracy)
  • Partner with Technology Management and internal audit to identify, document and report self-identified audit issues
  • Provide support to Technology Management on all phases of audit activities and ensure active engagement with technology management to meet audit objectives. In addition, assist management in the validation of preliminary audit issues and the creation of remediation plans.
  • Support GMOT Application Managers in the execution of BAU Risk Deliverables.
  • Assist in the follow-up and timely closure of Access Review deliverables.
  • Act as GMOT SPOC working on various access management issues.
  • Support GMOT AIT maintenance activities.
  • Prepare Risk Review presentations/dashboards for management view.
