Job Description

Global Wholesale Banking Technology team is seeking to expand its services in India. The business is looking for dynamic and talented individuals with passion to learn, self-driven, proactive in various roles to support the strategy to implement GWBT Production support horizontal model to support growth in areas of PaymentsWire processing, middleware, reporting, Trade Credit Services and Sales performance. Selected candidates will be part of application support teams supporting Bank of America s core wholesale banking and vendor applications, specializing in payment processing. The individuals will be responsible for various production support aspects including, but not limited to incident triage management, problem change management, Risk deliverables and are expected to take end to end ownership of applications with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

  • SME support for resolving Incidents, Problems, Monitoring Events, and Service Requests
  • Drive process improvements and innovation
  • Creation and maintenance of system, functional and reference documentation.
  • Conduct analysis and recommend bug fixes for production incidents
  • Provide On-call support
  • Carry out daily health-check activities involving application checks, system checks, and database checks and related on production systems servers
  • Report root cause of the incidents and present ideas on how to prevent the incidents from occurring in future
  • Ensure adherence to incident and change management processes

Requirements

  • Education: Any Engineering Graduate
  • Certifications If Any
  • Experience Range*: 7 to 9 years of Production support experience

    • Mandatory skills*:

    Windows, Unix, Oracle SQL, strong communication skills

    Desired skills :

    WebSphere MQ, Business Functional knowledge of payment flows corporate banking
