Interrogate and Assemble Data Sets. Bridge performance is driven by several indicators. Our data comes from a diverse set of sources. Some of the data come from Bridge systems and data producing processes. Some of the data we use is produced by government agencies within the many countries we serve. This data often requires significant preprocessing before it is ready and useful. As the volume of data and its use for decision making increases, it is critical that we build and maintain robust data sets for reporting and analysis. Automate Data Collection Processes. We are continuously improving how we measure and collect performance information. As we transition from legacy systems, it is critical that we identify the most useful data and ensure that it is available when we need it and at the desired frequency. Analyze Data and Succinctly Summarize Results. Ultimately, we seek to accelerate learning at Bridge. We value the ability to recognize patterns within a data set, separate the signal from the noise, and communicate the discoveries in plain English. Develop Data Visualizations. Visualizing and communicating data is incredibly important. It is essential to be able to assemble the best available information into a form that will allow managers to see variation within their domains, identify leading and lagging performance, and test whether their change ideas are improvements. Conduct Split Testing (A/ B Trials) . Many of our instructional improvements began as hypotheses to be tested.
