Job Description

    Primary Responsibilty:As an Android Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications, ensuring seamless integration with APIs and backend systems while delivering optimal performance and user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and backend developers, to implement new features, optimize application performance, and ensure compatibility across devices.We are seeking a highly skilledAndroid Developerwith 2 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative Android applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while adhering to best practices in mobile development.Key Responsibilities:
    1. Application Development:
      • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure Android applications.
      • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Kotlin and/or Java.
      • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement engaging and user-friendly interfaces.
    2. Feature Implementation:
      • Work closely with product and engineering teams to define and deliver new features.
      • Optimize applications for maximum performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
    3. Testing & Debugging:
      • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure app quality.
      • Debug and fix production issues and performance bottlenecks.
    4. Collaboration & Communication:
      • Collaborate with backend developers to define APIs and ensure seamless integration.
      • Work with QA teams to ensure comprehensive testing and smooth deployment.
    5. Continuous Improvement:
      • Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in Android development.
      • Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and contribute to team improvement initiatives.
    6. Documentation & Maintenance:
      • Create and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting.
      • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for released applications.
    Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Experience:
      • 2 to 10 years of experience in Android application development.
      • Proven track record of publishing at least one app on the Google Play Store.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
      • Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and Android Studio.
      • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON for app-to-server communication.
      • Knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices.
      • Proficiency in integrating third-party libraries, tools, and SDKs.
      • Experience with version control systems like Git.
    • Tools & Frameworks:
      • Familiarity with tools like Firebase, Retrofit, Room, and Glide/Picasso.
      • Understanding of Android Architecture Components (ViewModel, LiveData, DataBinding).
    • Soft Skills:
      • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
      • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
      • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture design patterns.
    • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
    • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
    • Exposure to app analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel.
