Job Description

    Job ProfileKey ResponsibilitiesDevOps Implementation using Tools, Manage Code Release, CI/CD Automation, Client communication and interactionJob Description1. Working closely with a cross-functional team of Software Engineers, Operations and business stakeholders to ensure smooth deployments of software updates. 2. Pro-actively work with the team to improve the process of controlling codes, building and deploying solutions across all Non-Production and production environments. 3. Develop and maintain reusable automation scripts and components with variety of build and deployment automation tools. 4. Source code control implementations (e.g., TFS/CodeCommit), build runners (e.g., Jenkins), deployment automation (e.g., TFS, Jenkins, MSBuild, etc.) Should have an experienced of 3-4 years in TFS, AWS, CI/CD Automation, managing end to end release process. 5. Must have at least 3 years of Experience with any of build and deployment automation platforms: Jenkins, TFS, AWS CodeDeploy, Teamcity, Octopus Deploy, etc. Should have strong scripting and automation skills especially PowerShell. 6. Experience of deploying .NET as well as Java applications Experience in automating database deployments, database versioning, source control. 7. Should be able to define release activities based on Release Notes: Branching, Merging, Build Pipeline, Deploy, Test, etc. Should be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues pertaining to build, release and deployment. 8. Should be able to share and communicate project activity status and report to QA Head and Management including various metrics on weekly basis or as and when demanded. 9. Should have wholistic approach to the application development and should have strong owner attitude for all DevOps related activities. Should collect and analyse Process metrics for improvements.(Efficiency/Efficiency) Qualification DetailsEssential Qualification: BSc computer science/engineeringPreferred Qualification: DevOps CertificateExperience DetailsEssential Experience: 3-4 Years of Experience in CI/CDPreferred Experience: 1) Experience with large enterprise scale solutions 2) Working experience or good understanding of .NET Framework and Java Platform 3) Development and/or DBA experienceSpecial SkillEssential : Fluent English, Good Presentation, Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills (both written and verbal), Dedication to quality approach, Attention to details, high level analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated ability to investigate complex issues and make informed decisions about them when written guidelines are not necessarily available.
