Job Description

Manager, Marketing & Digital Media Engagement - Srini Raju Centre for IT and the Networked Economy (SRITNE)ResponsibilitiesThe job holder needs to execute the business plan of the center in consultation with SRITNE s Associate and Executive Directors. S/he needs to follow - up on external partnerships/ leads and connections with companies, government bodies and industry associations, understand their requirements and identify new channels of engagement with the Centre. S/he needs to create awareness about the center s capabilities and program offerings by putting out periodic publications that reflect the centre s unique abilities and value for practitioners and firms. Specifically, the incumbent is responsible for supporting pre and post - program activities pertaining to SRITNE programs and events. Under pre - program support, the incumbent is expected to create an engagement plan for industry and help identify their learning needs. The incumbent interacts with the leads to generate excitement and resolve their program - related queries. The incumbent helps with the application process, including interviews, selection, and post which s/he connects the registered participants to the program manager for required help/assistance. The same applies to SRITNE events. The incumbent coordinates with the marketing & communication team for branding and other collateral development of the program. S/he also actively engages on the various social media platform to keep the SRITNE community engaged and active. The incumbent coordinates with the program manager to present a quarterly report on program execution and forecast to the governing team. Post - program support involves identifying, documenting and celebrating success stories, engaging on social media and hosting the annual SRITNE learning and networking event. S/he will facilitate the annual program review meeting and actively participate in program benchmarking and improvement. Job Interface/Relationships: Internal External

Skills and QualificationsKnowledge: Qualification
  • Bachelor s degree with at least 6 - 8 years of experience in managing projects, programs and/or handling outreach events/conferences preferably in an academic setting
  • MBA from a top ranked business school is required
  • Masters in Arts from a top ranked school can also be considered.
