You ll work in a stable, resilient and secure operating environment where you and the products you deliver will thrive.As a member of our Workspace Software Delivery (WSD) group you will dive head-first into creating an innovative approach to integrate applications into the End User Desktop Environment to help the business. You ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to the packaging, testing and deployment that goes into creating a standard & secure end user desktop environment.Your role is to use MSI, App-V, Citrix and MAC OS packaging technologies, to create deployable packages from both internally developed source as well as vendor source code.You ll be tasked to plan, coordinate and supervise all activities related to the integration of software programs and applications into the organizations information systems. You re also responsible for testing the interoperability of application modules under development by in-house software development teams. The role would also include establishing, and maintaining relationships with Product Owners, various Application Development teams and key stakeholders. In addition to leading the coordination of numerous internal service delivery organizations assisting in application release cycles, and facilitating global project hand-offs.Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software releases process - is the Key. And best of all, you ll be working and sharing ideas, information & innovation with our global team of technologists, from all over the world.This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• Advanced knowledge of application packaging and deployments workflow.
• Understanding the transformation of source code into deployable and resilient packages via MSI, App-V, Citrix and MAC Casper technologies.
• Partner with 3rd party application vendors, internal JPMC development teams, and JPMC product owners suggesting application modifications to enable packaging success.
• Generate any required documentation for packages created including the workarounds / methods used to solve the previous failed packaging attempts.
• Maintain and advance relations with internal Application Development and Coordination teams.
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals.
• Look to increase systematic efficiencies.Essentials:

• Previous Investment Banking application technology experience
• Minimum 8 + years of exposure in Application Packaging using the technologies mentioned above
• Understanding of End User Desktop (Windows 7/ Windows 10 / Windows Server 2008 R2 / Windows Server 2016 / VDI) environments
• In depth knowledge of Microsoft s MSI technology and scripting
• In depth knowledge of Microsoft s App-V 5.x technology
• In depth knowledge of Microsoft s SCCM 2012/16 technology
• In depth knowledge of Citrix XenApp & Citrix packaging
• In depth knowledge of MAC OS packaging and Casper Admin
• Experience with VMWare
• Experience with AdminStudio Software
• Knowledge of VBscript & PowerShell
• Knowledge of XML

Person Specification:

• Should have previous exposure in design and implementation of the application virtualization solution on global scale with advanced expertise in packaging virtualized applications and Citrix XenApp.
• Strong Verbal and written communication skills
• Expertise in managing client demands and expectations
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Team Player
