Job Description

    Position Title: Cloud Security Engineer Position Summary: NEC Corporation India Pvt Ltd is looking for an energetic, high-performing, and highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer who is required to define and implement network security policies and standards. He/ She needs to be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment, familiar with governing different technologies, managing multiple vendors, contractors, and technology disciplines while communicating to both business and technology resources. Education/Required Qualifications Total Experience: 8 - 12 yearsRelevant Experience: 6+ yearsQualifications: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent Roles & Responsibilities Must Have
    • 8 - 12 years of Cloud / IT Security experience, currently holding the position of Cloud Security Engineer / Cyber Security Architect / Network Security Engineer for the last 6 years preferably on Azure.
    • In-depth knowledge of security architectural consideration from End to End Application, networking & Infrastructure security perspective.
    • In-depth knowledge of information security concepts, design/architecture, and methodologies. In-depth Knowledge with security aspects of OS-security, Database, Network, Serverless, Firewalls, IAM, WAF.
    • Good Exposure in Network design, implementation, and supporting large/wide area networks. Experience in designing and implementing the new Datacenter architecture from network and security perspective.
    • Configuring and troubleshooting for IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, NAT concepts.
    • Knowledge and experience with security controls and tools such as vulnerability tools, WAF, API Security, Application Security, SIEM, Anti-APT, Threat hunting, Threat Intelligence etc. Strong knowledge of Fortinet security suit like FortiGate firewall, FortiWAF, FortiSandbox is preferred.
    • Experience with data network configuration and security including Windows firewalls, anti-virus, Active Directory, DNS, routing, distributed authentication.
    • Familiarity with compliance & security standards across the enterprise IT landscape (PCI DSS, CIS-20, SOC1/SOC2, and ISO 27K)
    • Good communication skills. Experience in handling Internal and External stakeholders with preference of working for Government projects.
    • A strong team player. Ability to collaborate within team, other colleagues, 3rd party vendors and customers.
    Good to Have
    • Good understanding of Encryption, Identity management, Federations, Log monitoring and governance practices.
    • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Architecture and testing.
    • Security-related certifications (CCSP, CISSP, CCSK, CEH, etc.) is an Advantage.
    • Understanding of Cloud native technologies - Kubernetes, Docker, serverless functions, APIs, and Micro services.
