The strategic goal of MEIC is to develop a State-of-the-Art R&D Center for medical device software and engineering solutions for the entire Medtronic group while operating out of Hyderabad.A Day in the Life
• Performs and analyzes financial modeling, variance analysis, forecasting, financial planning and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements.
• Provide analytical and business partnering support & insights to optimize performance, including financial statement analysis, KPIs, business performance commentary, and forecasting to various levels of management
• Responsible for project accounting, loading budget and forecast numbers
• Perform month-end processes, such as cost reclasses, accruals etc
• Preparing monthly/quarterly/ yearly reports, preparation of the strategic plans and the annual operating plan
• Routinely communicate financial and operational performance trends, historical and forecast, using appropriate metrics. Suggest trends, resulting implications, key actions, and strategic implications.
• Perform scenario modeling efforts for the development and growth of the portfolio.
• Develop and execute processes to allow for routine analytical reviews of company financial and operational performance, leveraging business unit analytical resources and tools
• Presentations in QBR s related to finance to the Sr leadership who operates from US
• Any capex decision evaluates and provide guidance and Influence the Sr. Leadership

• Excellent knowledge of Ms Excel & Ms PowerPoint
• Experience on an ERP system including General Ledger, automated entries and reporting
• Good communication skills & interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with Sr. Leadership team on the financial decisions
Experience and Knowledge & Qualifications:
• 4-5 years of finance and accounting experience with progressive responsibility, especially with exposure to international operations and R&D preferably
• CA/MBA Fin- FP&A experience in a MNC is a preferred
• Business Partnering experience
• Strong, professional communication and writing skills
• Excellent knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint
• Ability to create complex Financial models in Excel
• Experience in building BI Reporting by using Power BI or similar BI Tool
• SAP experience
