Our industry focus includes aerospace and defence, healthcare, telecommunications, rail transportation, semiconductor, geospatial, industrial, and energy.Job DescriptionDevelop, implement and monitor the Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) process and its associated methods / tools, from part/process design through to finalization of the Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP) and release to serial production. Lead functional and cross functional tasks, training, and mentoring Experience with carbon, aluminum, inflatable bladder and collapsible mandrel tools. Ensure compliance and flow down of regulatory agency, government regulations, engineering specifications, customer requirements and company policies/procedures. Monitor and support selected future suppliers through the implementation of the APQP process. Function as a liaison between purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to resolve quality and delivery issues prior to launch of new product (ensure mature quality at product launch). Support Aerospace Sourcing function in choosing capable suppliers using the Strategic Supplier Quality processes in connection with APQP, SQIP, IPDS and STP. Provide technical support to our customers during launch of new product. Provide first line of approval to the aerospace supplier selection committee on matters of controlled source, NADCAP, FAA and export compliance Provide technical training and facilitation in core tools APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, FAI, with an intense focus on PFMEA, FAI.
