Client: Leading FMCG in Hyderabad. Position: Area Sales Manager (FMCG) Location: Hyderabad Experience: 15+ years FMCG experience of which 5 years in managerial role. To manage sales and distribution of our brand by appointing distributors / Stockist and wholesalers and working with sales team in the field. Develop business in Telangana state to achieve short and long term objectives along with planning and leading new business opportunities. Responsible for planning and driving sales, product level revenue in designated regions. Appointing new distributors or stockist in areas where distribution gaps are visible Hiring store promoters and merchandiser as per the marketing plan. Design route/beat plans for salesman and distributors staff based on market potential. Track sales performance against targets on a daily basis and take corrective action. Work with salesman across their markets in the field to improve secondarys and tertiaries. Track competition and suggest proactive steps to be ahead of the competition. Keeping the team motivated, provide guidance and monitor performance of sales team and business partners. Identify other B2B sales opportunities and ensuring repeat business from the same. Ensuring a streamlined payment cycle, proper risk mitigation and ensuring no defaults.
