Job Description

    As an Area Sales Manager-Retail Operations in the Consumer Durable / FMCD / Luggage / Electrical (Lighting) / Apparel / Retail industry in Hyderabad (accountable for Telangana), your role will involve the following key responsibilities:- Monitoring the sales on a day-to-day basis- Ensuring the primary target is equivalent to retail figures- Achieving primary and secondary targets by reviewing store-wise performance, updating TSOs, and creating action plans- Launching new products in the market and other branches- Implementing store planograms and merchandising as per seasonal requirements and offers- Ensuring effective use of POP materials and prominently displaying company products at all retail shops- Upgrading and rectifying stores as needed- Collaborating with Field Forces in the market- Providing top-notch customer service- Developing business through cold calling and meeting potential customers- Coordinating with Branch Head/Commercial for product selection and goods dispatchIn terms of cost control, you will be responsible for:- Managing payment outstanding- Ensuring timely payments from franchises- Optimizing journey plans for the Field Force to reduce expenses while maximizing coverageRegarding promotional activities, you will oversee:- Schemes in the retail trade- Successful promotional activities implementation- Company initiatives with third-party and institutional tie-ups to boost sales- Monitoring competitor activities and preparing an annual reportSubordinate development will involve:- Providing on-the-job training to subordinatesAdditionally, the company is looking for:- A stable candidate with exposure to franchise operations- Team handling experience- Local candidates with a pleasing personality and the ability to handle complex situations- Willingness to travel across the state for approximately 10 to 12 days- Experience handling turnovers of 24 Cr PA and aboveThis role requires an MBA qualification (Full Time is Compulsory) with 3 to 14 years of experience. You will report to the Zonal Sales Manager / DGM-Retail and manage a team of 2 to 4 on-roll employees.
