Job Description

Description :

  • Knowledge: QMS ISO 9001:2015, EHS ISO 14001:2014 and BS OHSAS 18001:2018 Advance, Implementation of Safety rules, PESO, Factory act rules, Chemical processes, Emergency on site rescue plans
Roles Responsibilities:
  • To be responsible for carry out plant safety inspections for observing physical condition of the plant and check work practices whether in line with the SOP/GSDs and to submit a report periodically
  • Coordinates with Statutory authorities, Safety committee, external and internal audit observations/recommendations action plan implementation and follow up for compliance with mutually agreed schedule dates
  • Investigates all near misses, unusual incidents including reportable and implement all actions/controls and recommendations to avoid recurrence
  • Ensures Personal protective equipment and fire equipment inventory control
  • Issues Work Permits / Flame Permits to various departments in the factory and monitor the work to be carried out
  • Prepares APPCB Online data, Environmental monitoring data, Hazardous waste disposal data, Compliance Status Reports and Environmental Statements in prescribed forms, preparation and submission to APPCB.
  • Conducts department wise Safety audits and plant inspections and EHS Trainings on monthly basis
